Kuav Radio 105.1 FM

Thank you to Imperial Irrigation District for donation of this 60′ pole.

KUAV in the Kwatsan language means “Everyone:  Listen.”

KUAV RADIO is a low-frequency 105.1 FM radio station owned by Ah Mut Pipa Foundation located in Winterhaven, California.

KUAV RADIO airs news, information, music, and local programming.

KUAV-LP 105.1 FM will be the first ever radio station on the Fort Yuma Indian Reservation.  In January 2015, the FCC awarded the Ah-Mut Pipa Foundation a construction permit to build the new station on land owned by its founder, Preston J. Arrow-weed.  Since then, members of the Ah-Mut Pipa staff, friends, and family have been working hard to meet the deadline set by the FFC to have the radio facilities operational. On Friday, January 5, 2018, staff and engineers made the dateline and got KUAV playing Alvin Kelly singing Dear Songs on the air.
